Hey bud,
I've been singing for a good four years, now, with no lessons. For a while I practiced by singing songs by Iron Maiden and Blind Guardian. When I came across your singing with Helloween, I was simply amazed. For a while the whole 'hitting high notes' thing was an endeavor of mine, but you've shown me that that's not all it takes to me a great singer. I want to thank you for that. I'm in love with every song that you've ever sung on.
P.S. I'll be able to sing Kids of the Century from beginning to end one day!!

Hey Michael

I'm listening to Kids of the Century right now and thought I'd drop you a note. I don't understand why you turned your back on heavy metal, although I understand maturity and the need to push the musical boundaries. You were and still are one of the greatest heavy metal singers ever and it is something you should be proud of. The guy who's filling your shoes in Helloween is rather pathetic, if you ask me and I don't think I'm alone when I say it would be great to see you headbanging again with your Helloween buddies. Your voice is incredible and while your solo stuff's good, you belong with heavy music in the background where your voice can fly.
Don't get me wrong: I respect the fact that you feel like doing something else. But I can't understand why you trashed heavy metal the way you did. This is where you belong, I (and many other fans) believe.
Good luck with your future endeavours.
