UNISONIC are forced to cancel Langen and Ravensburg concerts PDF Print E-mail
Written by Basti
Tuesday, 06 November 2012

Due to an influenca infection of lead vocalist Michael Kiske, UNISONIC have to cancel their scheduled Germany concerts in Langen (Nov. 9th) and Ravensburg (Nov. 10th) as the special guest of GOTTHARD. Michael was fighting the symptoms of the illness for days, leading to the loss of his voice during the show in Hamburg last Sunday. His bandmate Kai Hansen spontaneously took over the lead vocals for the rest of the songs, so the band could finish their set.

In order to avoid a long term damage to his voice, the doctors instructed Michael to rest until his full recovery.

The band hopes to be back on track for the shows in Bamberg (Nov. 16th) and Munich (Nov. 17th).

Get well soon, Michael!

Michael Kiske with a flu PDF Print E-mail
Written by Basti
Monday, 05 November 2012

Due to a flu Michael Kiske was not able to sing all the songs of yesterday's performance of Unisonic in Hamburg. His voice was affected seriously so that Kai Hansen had to help out doing most of the vocals of the second half of the show while Michi was giving autographes for the people in the first row. For the last song "I want out" Michi finally got back on stage. Great guy! Let's all hope that he can recover until next show on Friday in Langen.
